Keppel Super King Mattress

Yes, this is a 3-star review - but I titled it the way I did because I did not want this to reflect negatively on the staff. The website UI is very good. The ordering process was very easy. I was contacted by a staff member to arrange delivery. Everything was easy.

I went in to the store to buy a mattress protector (for returns purposes), some pillows, sheet and quilt sets, etc. The lady who helped us was very informative and attentive.

The 3 stars is for the quality of the mattress ONLY.

The mattress seems to be well-made, however, I am a big fat fatty, and I bought this mattress specifically because I was under the impression that it would be good for heavy boys like me. I weigh 120+kg and I am 188cm tall, so I needed a big mattress that could withstand my immense mass without forming dips quickly.

After 20 days, there was a significant dip on my side of the bed. I rotated the mattress - as is advised in order to distribute mass over the mattress such that divots do not form asymmetrically on the mattress.

I had previously purchased a mattress-in-a-box from a famous podcast for a fee that is about 1/7th the cost of this mattress, and it lasted over a decade without forming divots and asymmetries in the way that this mattress has in less than 6 months.

We bought the super king Keppel in 2020 and still eagerly look forward to bedtime every single night because of this mattress. We have never regretted spending the money on this once and when we are away we dream of getting back to our bed!
It is so comfortable and plush, truly a Goldilocks situation for us - not too firm, not too soft.

I have completely replaced all 3 beds in our new house from this store. From our super king to the ‘2 new bed in a box’ queen visitor beds, we are extremely satisfied. Not sure if it’s a positive but our visitors and family always comment on how comfortable the beds are and stay longer😝. Very impressed with the wonderful service provided by Tracey at Bennetts Green. My man had back surgery over 5 years ago and the Keppel super king mattress is the most comfortable and supportive bed we have ever experienced. Tracey’s knowledge of the product has meant that we both now get the best sleep we have had in years. A restful sleep is hard to live without and until you get it regularly, you wonder how you survived before. Can’t thank the team enough from this store. Best investment ever.
