BC7 Plush Queen Mattress

Purchased 2 long single plush BC7 mattresses to replace the original latex foam matresses we had on our split king electric adjustable bed from a different manufacturer. The original mattresses were extremely heavy and as we are getting older and less flexible, more difficult to make. We purchased one medium firm for myself and one plush for my husband. After a couple of nights I realised the medium firm was too firm and so arranged to exchange the medium firm for another plush on their 30 day changeover policy. There were no issues in doing this. While both our old and these new mattresses are long single, these new ones were a very tight fit for our split king bed frame. Our old matresses were about 3-5 cms shorter. While the new matresses fit, it makes tucking in top sheet and blankets a bit harder. Ould be much easier if we preferred doonas! The plush is very comfortable and doesn't have too much "give" in the side panel when sitting on the edge. I don't find them hot to sleep on either. In comparison to our latex mattress these BC7's are less flexible and contour much less to the electric bed frame when adjusting frame positions. When the head and foot are raised the matress just sits across the top of the frame and does not flex in the middle to lie on the middle portion of the base. Being light and sitting up actually helps with making the bed a bit easier but when someone is in the bed, the contouring to the frame is less flexible still. We find we slide down more when we have the bed head raised. Maybe the latex mattress is more "grippy" on the body and tends to mould to the body more and holds you in position. These matresses are also not reversable so can only be turned from side to side so I will be interested in seeing what their lifespan is like. Overall I am happy with the matresses as they do make bed making an easier job.

We made our decision overnight, returning the next day to purchase two long single BC7 Mattresses; one plush and one firm. We can now connect the mattresses as a king bed and both have a perfect sleep together. We are extremely satisfied with the service and were extremely happy with the price. So happy with this mattress. Very soft and comfortable while also being supportive. We have placed it on a Modern Motion Adjustable base and we love the options this offers. Kristen, Brock and Brittine at Armidale's OMF store were all so helpful while we made our decision on which mattress to choose. The mattress and base came in 5 days rather than the 4-6 weeks we thought we may have to wait, so we were very happy to be able to enjoy our new comfy bed so soon. I have purchased from OMF previously. However, due to arthritis in my spine, a new sleep solution was required. The Manager, Stu, discussed my needs and I was able to try the Bc7 mattress, on a motion base with an appropriate pillow. I received a fantastic deal on my ensemble and received my purchase, including a mattress protector, promptly. It is like sleeping on a cloud, yet fully supportive. Thanks to OMF I can finally sleep in a bed comfortably again; And, I’m often asleep before the massage function turns off. AWESOME.
